EuroSoft Systems Ltd (ESL), the London-based software developer and consultancy has announced the restructuring of its operations following its phenomenal growth over the last year.
With its turnover increasing by over 300% in the last twelve months, ESL has formed two new companies to support its growing range of services and products. EuroSoft Systems (Solutions) Ltd will focus on the marketing and sales of the existing products, EventMan ™, ResMan ™ and Piranha, as well as developing new products. EuroSoft Systems (Services) Ltd will provide client-related services such as hosting, bureau facilities, testing and training. ESL’s consultancy business, which currently accounts for two thirds of the company’s turnover, will continue to play a major role for the Systems business.
ESL has more than doubled its office space within the Business Design Centre in Islington in the last two months and has announced the appointment of seven new members of staff, which brings its total up to 25 people. At management level, Marianne Ginger joins the company as Projects Manager, she was previously London Head of Electronic Trading IT at Commerzbank. She will play a crucial role in steering the company forward as it continues to grow. Sid Spalding has left Fast Multimedia to take on ESL’s Services Manager role and Jason Hall, who was working at Telecommunications Information Systems Ltd, is now IT Support Manager. In addition, four new analyst programmers have been appointed.
ESL was established in 1993 and has since built a reputation across many areas of consultancy and development. It is now a recognised market leader in system design and application development, and its projects have included the design and implementation of globally distributed systems covering applications such as prime brokerage, CTI, workflow and trading systems. Its clients range from leading publishing companies through to global investment banks. Two core products have been developed by ESL: EventMan, a tailored workflow management solution that runs on ESL’s Piranha platform, and ResMan, a complete resource management tool.
Russ Cole, Managing Director of ESL, said: “This past year has seen the most significant growth and changes since we formed seven years ago. Our consultancy business has been in high demand, and we have also begun to market and sell our products and other services proactively this year. The formation of the new companies will enable us to create a strong structure upon which further expansion can be based, and we expect the next year to be even more successful.”
